Day 1 -  November 6,2022

Arrive in Tel Aviv, Israel (D)

Shalom, Welcome to Israel! On arrival at Ben Guiron Airport, please clear customs and immigration and claim your baggage. Proceed to the arrivals hall and look for our local representative who will be waiting for you with a sign. Once everyone in your group is accounted for, you will be escorted to your vehicle and transferred to Tel Aviv where you will take a tour of Jaffa, before proceeding to the hotel for check in. Check in time: 2pm and after. Early check in is not included. The remainder of the day is at leisure. In the evening enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2 - November 7, 2022

Caesarea/Megiddo/Haifa (B/D)

Following a delicious Israeli buffet breakfast, travel by coach along the coastal plain to Caesarea, capital of Judea under the Romans. Home to Cornelius, the first Gentile convert, and Philip, the evangelist. Peter preached here and Paul was imprisoned in this city for 2 years. We will visit the excavations of this ancient city, the Roman theatre and aqueduct. Continue to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; see one of the most important archaeological site in Israel, visit the excavations including the well-preserved water supply system. Next to Mt. Carmel (Muchraka). This is where Elijah met the false prophets of Baal. Continue on to the beautiful port city of Haifa for a panoramic view of the Bahia Gardens and Haifa Bay. Continue to the Galilee and check into your Hotel.

Day 3 - November 8, 2022 

Tiberias/Capernaum/Tabgha/Mount of Beatitudes/Banias (B/D)

After a short tour of Tiberias, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit Yigal Alon museum where the “Jesus boat”, an ancient fishing boat from the 1st century, is displayed, it was discovered in 1986 and believed to be from the time of Jesus and his disciples. Continue on to Capernaum, where it is believed to have been Jesus’ home and the center of his ministry. Capernaum, is where Jesus lived as a child for 2 years and the area from where most of the disciples came. While many miracles were recorded here, the inhabitants did not repent and accept His Message. Visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue. Proceed to Tabgha, the site of the miracle of fish and loaves, and visit the Church of Multiplication with its 4th century mosaic floor. Continue on to the Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount and taught the prayer of Our Father.

Drive to the Banias springs and waterfalls known in the Bible as Caesarea Philippi; where Jesus asked “Whom do ye say that I am?" Tour the Golan Heights travelling in similar direction as that of Saul of Tarsus when on his way to Damascus. Return to the hotel after the tour.

Day 4 - November 09, 2022

Cana/Nazareth/Jordan River/Jerusalem (B/D)

Drive to Cana of Galilee, the town where Jesus grew to manhood and where he performed his first miracle, the turning of water into wine. We'll continue on to Nazareth to visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and Mary’s Well, where the angel Gabriel informed the Blessed Virgin Mary she will give birth to Our Lord Jesus Christ. We'll see archaeological remains of the village of Nazareth of Jesus' day and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River, where believers celebrate and take the opportunity to submerge themselves near the same waters that Jesus baptized his followers. Drive along the Jordan River to Jerusalem. On arrival, transfer to the hotel for check in.

Day 5 - November 10, 2022

Jerusalem (Old City) (B/D)

Today we visit the Old City of Jerusalem. Our appreciation of this Golden City begins with a panoramic view from the Mount of Olives. We will look across the Kidron Valley to the old walled city of Jerusalem. We will make our way to the site where Jesus wept over this magnificent city (Luke 19: 41-44). Enter the Old City and begin exploring the wonders of Jerusalem. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane where we will see fruit-bearing olive trees over 2000 years old; the Church of All Nations; King David’s tomb and the room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion. Next, we will walk the Cardo, the ancient main street of the Old City of Jerusalem.

Visit Temple Mount; the Western Wall & walk along the Via Dolorosa where Jesus carried his cross, visit Pilate’s Judgment Hall, the Church of the Flagellation, the Church of the Condemnation and Imposition of the Cross, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We will have time to walk through the colorful Arab Bazaar where we can get some souvenirs to bring back home. Our last visit will be the Garden Tomb, the site of the burial and resurrection of Jesus. Return to the hotel after the tour.

Day 6 - November 11, 2022

Jerusalem (New City) (B/D)

Today’s program is dedicated to the New City of Jerusalem.

Drive to Ein Kerem, the birthplace of John the Baptist. Visit the church of Visitation - it honors the visit paid by the Virgin Mary to her cousin Elizabeth. Visit the Israel museum and the shrine of the book where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed. See the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was at the time of Jesus. .

Proceed to Yad Vashem, Israel's official memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, established in 1953. Return to the hotel after the tour.

Day 7 - November 12, 2022

Bethlehem/Jericho/Genesis Land (B/L/D)

Today, visit Bethlehem and visit the cave revered as the Birthplace of Jesus and see the Church of Nativity constructed over the site. Gaze out over the Shepherd’s Field where an angel appeared to announce the birth of Jesus. Visit Jericho, the oldest and lowest city in the world, where you’ll enjoy and overview of the ancient ruins and Mount Temptation. Afterwards we will take part in the “Land of Genesis” in Abraham's Tent, where we’ll enjoy a trip back in time with camel rides and authentic food; a reliving of life in the time of the Patriarchs, where the story of Abraham will be recreated. Return to the hotel after the tour.

Day 8 - November 13, 2022 

Jerusalem via Madaba and Mt. Nebo to Petra (B/D)

After breakfast, drive to the Allenby border crossing to complete formalities and cross over into Jordan. Note: After crossing over into Jordan, you will board a Jordanian Vehicle and be accompanied by a Jordanian Guide. Meet your Jordanian Guide and then start a tour of the capital: you will discover the resources and the culture of the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan - its historic centre, its citadel, its Roman amphitheatre, its old mosques, its galleries and shops and also the more modern centre which confers on the city a duality and an exceptional character.

Day 9 - November 14, 2022

Petra to Amman (B/D)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then start a full day tour to discover the Nabateans City of Petra, the "pink city", which has been ranked New Wonders of the World Heritage of Humanity, it’s the home of the Nabateans; The complete city carved in a mountain with the huge colourful rocks that called “the red rose city”. The tour will start by crossing the “Siq” which is an impressive 1200 M long, deep and narrow gorge of stunning natural beauty. The Siq s hammed in by cliffs soaring up to 80 Meters. Then just when you think you have seen enough dazzling sights in the Siq, you will face with Al-Khazneh (the treasury) the pride of all Jordanians. The architectural style of it was unique in the ancient world, main inspiration was Hellenistic, Alexandrian Hellenistic, plus that unique encompassing Nabateans artistic touch (30 M Wide, and 43 M high) it is a truly breath-taking. Then we continue the visit and come to the Street of Facades the Theater which looks Roman but was executed by the Nabateans in the 1st Century AD, it is carved into solid Rock except towards the front earlier side, where part of it was built freestanding, initially it could seat 3000 People, but was later extended to finally hold about 7000. The rest of the day you will see more and more in Petra. In the late afternoon drive back to Amman and the remainder of the evening is at leisure.

Day 10 - November 15, 2022

Amman-Qumran/Massada/The Dead Sea (B/L/D)

After breakfast, transfer to the Allenby border crossing to complete formalities and cross back into Israel. Note: After crossing over into Israel, you will board an Israeli Vehicle and be accompanied by an Israeli Guide. Drive to Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found in 1947 by a Bedouin boy. Visit the ancient city of Qumran and drive along the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth to Massada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the second temple in 70 A.D. Ascend Massada by cable car and visit the food storeroom, water irrigation system and Herod’s palace. Transfer to your hotel at the Dead Sea. Check into the hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure.
